The OCA Alliance serves to stimulate a rich ecosystem that supports AES70 – an open public standard that streamlines the control/configuration of network-connected professional AV equipment. The Open Control Architecture (OCA) environment has evolved to encompass various tools, software libraries and resources that facilitate the further development of AES70 products. All OCA devices and applications support the AES70 standard. Similarly, all AES70 compatible products are part of the OCA initiative.
AES70 is the official standardization of the OCA control model and the OCP.1 protocol.
The OCA Alliance is a trade association that supports the OCA ecosystem, promotes the adoption of AES70 by the industry, and guides the evolution of the AES70 standard.
